Careshare

Concepting the future of mental health care on college campuses.

The capstone project for the WWU UX program under mentorship from Seattle agency Artifact. Worked with a multidiciplinary team of 4, consisting of Designers and UX Psychologists. Scope of the project was 10 weeks, from in depth research to solution conception. My role was team lead, and I was highly responsible for the brand and visual executions.

Challenges

The most severely mentally ill students need the services the most but have the most trouble taking the first step on their own.
Students are not given any guidance, be it a counselor, peer, or training, on what campus mental health services there are, where to find them, or how to use them.
Students who reach out may get a list of relevant campus services, but receive no check-ins in person or digitally to make sure they work.
Brand
Gentle yet positive color scheme. A logo that ties back wave form logo of the campus it started on. Representatively filling in the gaps to meet students where they are at.
